Death Of Jack Six
Sad news to report that Jack Six has passed away.
Jack joined the Dave Brubeck Quartet shortly the “Classic Quartet” finished. His first performance with Dave was on the premiere of “The Light in the Wilderness." From there he went to Mexico on tour recording “Compadres” and later that year, “Blues Roots”. He continued playing with Dave for over 30 years and recorded close on 20 albums retiring in the late 1990’s.
