The All Star Swing Festival was videotaped at Lincoln Center on 23rd October, sponsored by Timex for broadcast on NBC and later aired by public television.
There were 17 performances by a number of different groups with emcee Doc Severinsen introducing each band.
The original DVD release by Delta in 1986, excluded the segment of the Dave Brubeck Quartet. This DVD with Spanish text does include it. The original VCR release by Victor (Japan) also included it.
