During the late fifties and sixties Dave Brubeck's innovative music was looked upon as being the height of cool. All classy cocktail parties of the period seemed to feature his music in the background. Much of his music featured an unusual time signature which tended to give it an off beat feel. These rare 'live' recordings were made to promote enlistment into the navy and as such their rarity should attract the serious collector.
